Cannes is located in the southeast of France, in La Napoule Bay, 30 km from Nice. The climate here is Mediterranean, so winters are moderately warm, and summers are dry and warm in the resort.<\/p>\n

The name of the city is translated as "reed", which is associated with thickets of reeds growing here everywhere. Until 1834, Cannes was an ordinary French village, but then Lord Brogham settled there, shocked by the local beauties. After his death, friends and relatives gathered at the funeral of the lord, who also appreciated the magnificence of these places and the wonderful climate. Gradually, many rich people began to settle in Cannes, and as a result, the village turned into a fashionable resort.
