Sightseeing in Male<\/b><\/p>\n<p>Mal\u00e9 Museum contains stone sculptures, thrones of the Maldivian sultans, compositions made of coral, found in the 12th century in the temples of Buddhists.<\/p>\n<p>The local National Museum displays the history and culture of the Maldives. It has exhibits from pre-Islamic times that are of great value.<\/p>\n<p>The Friday Mosque has been in existence since 1984. Its minaret was planned as the tallest structure of the island, but the television tower of the island of Male' is taller.  <\/p>\n<p>The mosque called Hukuru Miskiity was built in 1656. Its walls are made of coral and have beautiful carvings and Arabic inscriptions.<\/p>\n<p><b>Tips for all tourists<\/b><\/p>\n<p>Majeedhee Magu is considered the main street of the city. You can take a cab or rent a car.<\/p>\n<p>Do not forget to bring a couple of souvenirs from your trip to Male. It can be items made of wood, coral, woven mats and other knick-knacks.<\/p>\n<p>In the Maldives, you cannot drink alcohol in public places, swim naked, fish on the shore, collect coral in the ocean.
