Khao Lak beaches are located in the area between the national park (Khao Lak - Lam Ru) and Cape Pakarang (Pakarang), it is mostly a quiet family vacation, without the loud parties and crowds.<\/p>\n

Not far from the shore there is a lighthouse on a small island.<\/p>\n If you do not sit in a hotel complex or on a bench, which you provided the hotel (the beach deck chairs and sun loungers are not available), then you can ride a catamaran, kayaks, rent a board for windsurfing, play volleyball or enjoy the famous and, importantly, a real Thai massage.<\/p>\n Nearby is the village of La On, a few years ago small and modest, but now it is a whole entertainment complex. At night you will find a lot of bars and pubs with a relaxing atmosphere and live music. In the restaurants you can try different cuisines. Many restaurants offer dishes of different nationalities and at the same time have reasonable prices.<\/p>\n Accommodation on the beach is available in beach-front hotels - located directly on the shore, and gesthouses located along the main route. Here you will find several hotels, cheap restaurants and massage huts. But here you can ride not only kayaks, but also sailboats and go fishing.<\/p>\n \u25a3 Bang Niang Beach<\/p>\n<\/div>\n The night resort is more suitable for romantic strolls rather than the rambunctious fun that characterizes the big cities of Thailand. Also here you will find many tailor shops. Typical rents start at 500 baht.<\/p>\n Near Khuk Khak Beach there are many charming palm groves and pine trees. They are surrounded by hotels and other elements of infrastructure, by the way, not cheap.<\/p>\n Of the major hotels worth mentioning: Khao Lak Orchid Beach Resort, Andamania Beach Resort and JW Marriott. Approximate cost per night will be from 2500 baht. The beach is separated from Bang Niang by a river and lake, which can be easily waded.<\/p>\n Khuk Khak is a transitional zone. There are even fewer tourists here than at the previous beach. There are even more local fishermen - people earn their bread by hard work, they, unlike tourists, are not at the resort. Not far from the resort is the only gas station in all the resorts.<\/p>\n Parakang beach is divided into two parts, and families with children will suit the southern part - there is a very gentle shore and shallow sea. The beach is less picturesque than the previous one, but those who like not only soft sand and warm sea will be interested in Cape Parakang.<\/p>\n \u25a3 Pakarang Beach.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n It's strewn with shells, not too friendly for bare feet, but you can see almost all the beaches of Khao Lak. The place is surprisingly deserted and almost wild.<\/p>\n Pakwip is essentially an extension of Parakang. The beach has national park status and there are no jet skis or other noise. But there are chic, premium hotels. The Sarojin Hotel deserves special attention, with room rates starting at 15,000 baht per night in high season.<\/p>\n \u25a3 Pak Weep or White Sand Beach<\/p>\n<\/div>\n This is the quietest beach in Khao Lak. And, by the way, the cleanest - in the sand here you can just sink your feet! The resort is located very advantageous, on the shores of the bay - the water is much clearer than everywhere else. The coast is overgrown with grass, a lot of tall trees. It is also a good choice for a family vacation - here the water is shallow, and the absence of tourists will make it easy to keep an eye on the children. This beach is also sometimes called otherwise - White Sand Beach.<\/p>\n Bangsak Beach is a gently winding line of beach, dotted with soft white sand. It is the northernmost of the beaches, 100 meters behind it is the town of Takuapa. The beach is long, and there are different stretches, where it is inhabited and where it is deserted.
