Simboliza la fidelidad y el amor, y ninguna campana puede asustarse. Garante de la unidad del pa\u00eds es el Presidente, que reside en el castillo de Riga, fundado en el siglo XIV. Hay otros castillos en Riga cuya belleza no deja indiferente a nadie. Entre ellos se encuentra el castillo de Rundale, que parece m\u00e1s bien un palacio. Este castillo fue dise\u00f1ado por el propio Rastrelli. La sala blanca se llena de m\u00fasica cl\u00e1sica la mayor parte del tiempo. En este complejo se celebran conciertos, festivales, comedia y pop. Uno de esos lugares es Liep\u0101ja, donde se ha conservado hasta hoy una prisi\u00f3n militar. Ha conservado \u00edntegramente el ambiente de principios del siglo XX, cuando los marineros revolucionarios eran encarcelados en estas celdas. Pero no es s\u00f3lo la emoci\u00f3n de una visita a la prisi\u00f3n-museo lo que se puede experimentar en Liepaja. La ciudad alberga la majestuosa catedral de San Nicol\u00e1s, fundada a principios del siglo XX.
