Aguas sin vida<\/b><\/p>\n

El misterio del Mar Muerto interesa a los cient\u00edficos desde hace mucho tiempo. Existen masas de agua similares en todo el mundo (por ejemplo, el lago m\u00e1s salado del mundo, Assal), pero es el Mar Muerto el que m\u00e1s llama la atenci\u00f3n, ya que en la Biblia se escribe sobre estos lugares. <\/p>\n

Debido a la elevada concentraci\u00f3n de sal en el agua del Mar Muerto, no pueden habitar en ella organismos vivos, s\u00f3lo ciertos tipos de bacterias. Y, al mismo tiempo, la misma raz\u00f3n hace que el agua sea extremadamente curativa. Muchos turistas vienen aqu\u00ed cada a\u00f1o, para recrearse y tratarse con barro y ba\u00f1os termales.<\/p>\n

No lejos de la costa del Mar Muerto se ha descubierto un hallazgo asombroso: los manuscritos de Qumr\u00e1n. Este artefacto es una colecci\u00f3n de m\u00e1s de 600 manuscritos que demuestran que ya 200 a\u00f1os antes de Cristo exist\u00eda una secta jud\u00eda de los jesuitas. Los hesitas profesaban principios que son notablemente coherentes con los preceptos del Evangelio.<\/p>\n

El Mar Muerto es la depresi\u00f3n m\u00e1s profunda de la superficie terrestre (-417 metros desde el nivel del mar). Se calcula que tiene unos 12.000 a\u00f1os de antig\u00fcedad. Aparece descrito por primera vez en la Biblia, donde se le llama \"Mar Salado\" y suministra agua al sagrado Jord\u00e1n. <\/p>\n
