Karaganda si trova sul territorio del Kazakistan ed \u00e8 il centro amministrativo dell'omonima regione. Karaganda \u00e8 considerata una delle citt\u00e0 pi\u00f9 giovani della repubblica. Tuttavia, in breve tempo \u00e8 riuscita a diventare un importante centro culturale, industriale e scientifico dello stato.<\/p>\n

Oggi qui operano imprese di estrazione del carbone, si stanno sviluppando l'industria alimentare, l'ingegneria meccanica e la lavorazione dei metalli. In termini di popolazione, la citt\u00e0 \u00e8 una delle pi\u00f9 densamente popolate del Kazakistan. La sua composizione etnica \u00e8 rappresentata da russi, kazaki, ucraini, tedeschi, tartari, bielorussi, polacchi, uzbeki e anche azeri. Le religioni principali qui sono l'Ortodossia e l'Islam, quindi ci sono moschee e chiese ortodosse in citt\u00e0. Karaganda \u00e8 piena di varie istituzioni educative. La capitale della regione ha anche dozzine di monumenti di cultura e storia, musei e teatri. La citt\u00e0 \u00e8 famosa per il festival pop-rock "Musicar", che riunisce migliaia di appassionati di musica, sia da diverse regioni della repubblica che da altri paesi.<\/p>\n
