A ovest confina con l&#039;Oceano Atlantico e su tutti gli altri lati confina con il Senegal.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/01\/strany-afriki-gambiya-1.jpg\" class=\"alignleft\" alt=\"Paesi africani: Gambia\"\u0421\u0442\u0440\u0430\u043d\u044b\" title=\"Paesi africani: Gambia\" \/> Il paesaggio del Gambia \u00e8 prevalentemente un altopiano basso, che diminuisce in altezza man mano che si avvicina alla costa atlantica. Le pianure sono divise in due dal fiume e sono tagliate in pi\u00f9 punti da montagne basse e piatte. Nell&#039;ovest del paese, vicino alla costa, le sponde dei fiumi si trovano principalmente su paludi di mangrovie.<\/p>\n<p> Lontano dal fiume ci sono savane boscose, con vaste aree su cui crescono vari alberi, tra cui baobab e sequoie.
