Passports are usually required for foreign visitors, while locals can show an ID or driver's license.

In terms of appearance, Dubai is a little more mellow than most places. Women can wear short skirts and dresses, which are considered normal club attire.

Most places have strict dress codes, so men should avoid jeans, shorts and flip-flops.

Since public intoxication is against the law, we recommend taking a cab directly to the hotel rather than walking home. This also applies to drunk driving.

If you follow these basic principles, a night out in Dubai will be incredible!
