Tourists usually arrive at the capital's Suvarnabhumi Airport and from there take a domestic flight to Samui. In this terminal there is no customs control, and things are issued without delay. In the international terminal, the official procedures will take you about an hour.

Some airlines offer a through check-in service to Samui Airport: Malaysia Airlines, Qatar Airways, Etihad Airways, British Airways, Airberlin, EVA Air, Air France, KLM, Cathay Pacific. You can use this service to fly Bangkok to Samui on Bangkok Airways.

How to get to the hotel

As you walk along the covered walkway to the cab and bus stops, look out for the stands with maps and all sorts of brochures, all free. Take it, it will come in handy.

Car

Minibuses

They shuttle to all the beaches on the island. To avoid confusion with the translation, you should book the hotel in advance and print out its name and phone number. Depending on the distance, the ticket price ranges from 100 to 200 baht, small children go free. Be aware that mini-buses leave only as passengers are loaded.
