The very south of Europe

It's hard to say two words about this island. Many of Crete's resorts have been awarded international awards for clean environment.
Crete is truly a paradise with a blue sea with clear water that is almost unheard of in the Mediterranean, picturesque beaches, clear gentle sea and sunny weather that delights the eye for 300 days a year. And recently it has become available to mere mortals.
Tourist services and air travel have fallen in price after the well-known financial crisis, and the process of obtaining tourist visas has become easier. This year, the tide of tourists has increased in Greece by ten percent compared to last year, and in Crete by all fourteen percent. Seven months, between April and October, during the season, Crete becomes a Mecca for tourists. Rains and thunderstorms are not a frequent phenomenon. The holidays in Crete are not only comfortable, but also safe. The crime level here is close to zero. Oleanders, citrus fruits, fishing boats, cries of seagulls, and the quiet, measured life of the locals - this Mediterranean atmosphere is very relaxing.
On the island there is a constant feeling of riding in a time machine. From the palaces of the time of the Egyptian pyramids you can get into a medieval settlement, and from there, after walking a few steps, you again plunge into the world of modern hotels and developed infrastructure.
