Slovenia - the charm of the Adriatic

Many people are already thinking about where to spend their next vacation. I can't wait to share my impressions of the country, which was a revelation for me. Perhaps it will be a discovery for you as well.

Despite its convenient location in the center of Europe, Slovenia today remains far from the traditional tourist paths of our compatriots. This is partly due to some information hunger, which I hasten to fill in this article.

A visit to Slovenia was an unforgettable experience. Few places offer such an extraordinary combination of natural landscapes and climatic zones that offer tourists inexhaustible opportunities for recreation and entertainment, all year round.

In the summertime, most vacationers are attracted to the sea coast of the country. Its length is not great, only 46.6 km, but it is a truly heavenly place. The center of marine tourism is the city of Portoroz. Here you can enjoy the beauty of the rich nature of the Mediterranean - the sparkling turquoise water, pines and junipers exuding spicy aroma. Along the sea stretches beautiful, flower-drenched walkways for promenade. Along with natural factors, tourists are attracted by modern medical base of local sanatoriums, which accept guests all the year round. It should be noted the high level of European service in local hotels and developed infrastructure. Since the coast has a stony structure, almost all hotels on the coast have their own swimming pools with sea water and adjacent beach areas. Such complexes on the coast are particularly convenient not only for families with small children, but also for those who like comfort. And admirers of marine life can enjoy diving and swimming in the sea. Do not forget to take rubber slippers with you on vacation, as the seashore in Slovenia is stony.

In winter, tourists are attracted to ski resorts. The most popular are Kranjska Gora, Bohinj and Maribor Pohorje. Modern, equipped slopes attract not only tourists from all over the world, but also professional athletes. It is not once held here competitions in skiing. Slopes of different complexity levels are suitable both for beginners and professionals. Developed infrastructure and quality service is what sets Slovenia's ski resorts apart.

And, of course, at any time of the year you will be welcomed by the Slovenian capital city of love - Ljubljana. Many museums and sights, cozy restaurants and small streets that allow you to hide from the hustle and bustle of the city - you will remember its identity. Despite the fact that all European cities are similar, Ljubljana has its own face and belongs to the cities you want to come back to again and again.

In conclusion, I would like to say a few warm words about Slovenes. They are wonderful, hospitable people. The staff speaks several languages. The impression is that they all want to fulfill any whim of their guests. Russian-speaking vacationers while not a lot and the attitude to them is the most positive.
