Hypermarkets

Stores where you can buy groceries, household chemicals and other useful things in Hua Hin are plentiful. Such chains as "7/11" and "FamilyMart" are certainly not hypermarkets, but we can't help but mention them. In the markets of these networks, you can not only buy the necessary products and important little things, but also buy ready-made food and drink coffee. Even though it does not look like restaurant food, the prices are much lower. Another plus is the 24-hour operation.

The store has dairy products of all kinds uncharacteristic of Thailand, as well as a large selection of meat. For lovers of alcohol there is no better place than the "Villa Market". Prices in the hypermarket are quite high. This is due to the presence of products not made in Thailand. It is located at the intersection of Pechkasem Road and 84 Soi.

Also quite popular chain supermarket "Big C" is great for buying food, semi-finished products, dairy products, ready-made food of own production, souvenirs, exotic dried fruits and more. For 1000 baht you can completely fill the fridge with meat, fruit, desserts and cereals. There is a cashless payment. Supermarket is open from 8:00 to 22:00, located in the area of Soi.

"Tesco Lotus", which is notable for its format, has a good range of food, clothes, shoes, stationery, household chemicals and nice little things. It's easy to have an inexpensive lunch at Tesco. Prices for prepared foods are low. In the evenings, unsold food is on sale at a discounted 50%. Buying dinner at "Tesco" for 20 baht is realistic. Especially since many items are sold at a great discount. It is open from 10:00 to 22:00. The same applies to the "Premium Outlet" store, which sells well-known brands. Their prices are reduced. It is located outside the city in the resort town of Cha Am and is open until 20:00.

"Shopping Mall, which doesn't specialize in certain brands, is good for its small departments with clothes, shoes, accessories, and electronics stores. The Power buy shopping mall is not bad. Both are on Pertchkasen Road.

Shopping and entertainment parks

There are two famous parks in Hua Hin. They are Santorini Park Hua Hin and Venecia Hua Hin. It is not difficult to guess from the name that one of them is stylized as a Greek island, and the other - as an Italian city. In "Santorini" park has the standard rides: a Ferris wheel, various slides, mazes and trampolines. But the park also has its own "gimmicks" - a museum of 3D paintings and a water park. Trade is booming here, too: a lot of clothes, souvenirs and goodies. Sitting in one of the cafes on a day off, you can watch a performance.

Santorini Park Hua Hin

The park is open until 8 p.m. from 9 or 10 a.m. depending on the day of the week. The cost of admission is 50 baht. Located outside of Hua Huynh, about 30 kilometers away. Venice Park, designed in the Italian style, is a cozier and quieter place.

Narrow streets, plants and sculptures will delight fans of good old Europe. The amusement rides and a small zoo will not let children get bored. The park also has shops with clothes, food and souvenirs. It is worth eating Thai ice cream. If you drive from the city center in the direction of Bangkok, the park can be reached in 20 minutes.

Markets

Water markets, or floating markets, are the most interesting places for tourist shopping. There are two of them in Hua Hin. These places are suitable for tourists who want to immerse themselves in the culture of Thailand, communicate with the people of the city and relax. In "Sam Phan Nam Floating market" buy Thai food, national clothes, handicrafts. You can rent a boat or catamaran, feed the fish and watch swimming birds.

The Hua Hin Floating market is slightly smaller in size. The assortment in the outlets of both markets is similar, but the latter is famous for its contact zoo. Located in Soi 112, opening hours from 10:00 to 23:00. Hua Hin night market is incredibly famous among tourists. Because of this, the prices of many products overpriced, although traded in the market about the same things. The market has many restaurants, shops with delicacies to take away, bars and fast food.

As darkness falls, the fair opens and takes up more than one street. The products of the trade are varied. Items of clothing are next to food and souvenirs. Here you can buy, for example, a huge pound lobster for 600 baht. Stalls are open from 17:00 and remain open until 23:00. The market is located on Soi 72.

The Thai day market is where Hua Hin residents go to get their groceries. Prices are reasonable and there is a huge selection of seafood and spices. The day market opens at 4:30 am, and runs until about 15:00. Located on Pertchkasen, at the intersection of 74 and 72 Soi. Fish can be bought at the markets by Mount Khao Takiab, where it is guaranteed to be fresh. The fishermen sell their catch at ridiculous prices. A kilogram of shrimp for 500 baht or less is common.
