– Пещеры Эллоры. A thousand and a half years ago, monks hollowed out 30 caves, a place of solitude. Their vaults are decorated with interesting writings.



– Пещеры Аджанта. A temple of 34 caves was built in the first century B.C. and painted with magnificent frescoes. This place is especially interesting for art historians, as many signs can tell us about the culture of that time.



– Храмы Ундавалли. Seven caves in the sandy rock were carved in 400 A.D. The temples praise the gods of Hinduism - Shiva, Vishnu, Brahma.



– Пещеры Элефанта (Слоновьи пещеры). Created in the 5th century AD. The complex is surrounded by statues, thanks to which the caves are called Elephant Caves.



– Храм Амарнатх (3 век н.э.). It comes from natural rocks and resembles the outlines of the moon. Inside, the cave is filled with white stalagmite.



– Храмы Канхери. Created in the first century B.C. They are not in the rocks, but in the jungle. The 109 caves are carved into the black rock. They are surrounded by large columns.



– Пещеры Бхимбетка. They are more than 100 thousand years old. The complex of 700 caves is decorated with petroglyphs. The Indians depicted daily life on the walls: trade, hunting, etc.
