Чернобыльская станция – «изюминка» для туристов

Chernobyl station - a "highlight" for tourists

Strange as it may sound, but nowadays the destroyed nuclear power plant has become a real tourist highlight for Ukraine and now everyone can visit it, having plunged into the 80s. And it's already official. Of course, there are restrictions on movement in the Chernobyl zone and always with a guide, often a representative of the Ministry of Emergency Situations. Basically, the price of such an excursion depends only on the number of people in the group.

Its duration is 6-7 hours. Tourists can visit the Chernobyl nuclear power plant itself, as well as walk around the ghost town. During the tour you can get acquainted with the residents who still live there.

This extreme trip will be remembered for a long time. After all, from the bus window you can already see the strict roadside signs, around the barbed wire and policemen with machine guns. The tour itself begins with the city of Chernobyl. It is almost unchanged since 1986, I would not even say that once there was an accident. Now the population there is 3 thousand people. And around the city you can see the so-called "burial grounds" where entire villages are buried, as well as everything that was contaminated, but not subject to decontamination.

After that you can go to the ghost town, i.e. Pripyat. One gets the impression that this city has been frozen in formaldehyde since 1986. Many houses have remained untouched and they still have furniture and things from that time. The only thing that has appeared is wild animals. Residents who still live there say that there are even two-headed fish in the river. But no one really knows if this is true or not. After all, everything can be, because after the release of radiation and the departure of man from those places, the nature has undergone significant changes.
