Go-go bars in Bangkok for an exotic night

Besides sightseeing and shopping, Bangkok is famous for its go-go bars after the sun goes down. Almost like a strip club, go-go bars in Bangkok are cooler versions of regular bars because there are lots of girls dancing around enjoying a drink.

Three neighborhoods are best known for their go-go bars: Soi Cowboy, Nana Plaza and Patpong.

Soi Cowboy is a 150-meter stretch of road with dozens of go-go bars on each side, as well as massage stores and casual beer bars. It is located between Sukhumvit Soi 23 and Asoke, and can be reached by public transport at Asoke station.

It's known for its disco ball and neon light aesthetic, Japanese clientele and three floors of unbridled dancing, including an outdoor patio with stunning views of the street.

2. shark

Located in close proximity to Baccara, Shark adheres to a similar aesthetic of large center stages and double-decker seating. A raised dance floor provides a great view of performances from all sides of the bar, and unlike most places Shark represents a variety of genres, such as techno music.

The ceiling here is transparent, so in addition to the adorable girls, you also have a fantastic view of the night sky. If you want to enjoy a drink, make sure the establishment's happy hours end at 8:00 p.m.

3. Crazy House

"Crazy House," as one of the latest establishments in the area, attracts young people. It is known for its heartbreakingly loud music and an 8-shaped stage to give everyone in the bar a great view of the show.

The second floor has glass floors. There are private shows that include oiling and hot wax sprinkling. The establishment is considered one of the youngest and least expensive go-go bars in Bangkok.

4. Tilac Bar

Immortalized in the movie The Hangover 2, Tilac has gradually become one of the trendiest go-go bars in Bangkok. It follows a metal and neon aesthetic, though the presence of mirrors everywhere can make long hours of hanging out a bit disconcerting.

Tilak has not one big stage, but six small stages scattered around the room, which means that there are always performances going on.

The bar has gained a devoted male fan, watching not only the girls pouring drinks and dancing, but also the huge TV screens by the walls, which also show sports.

5. Rainbow 5

Formerly known as Rainbow 4 and R & B Bar, Rainbow 5 can be found on the middle floor of Nana Plaza. Contrary to first impressions, the bar is more substantial than it looks, with a small dance floor featuring about 30 dancers.

Because of the small size of the dance floor, Rainbow 5 is more a place to meet and socialize with the girls than to watch them perform. This bar is considered a great place to have drinks on bar stools and enjoy great music.

This is one of the biggest bars in the area, located on the left side on the first floor of Nana Plaza. The decor is chic and elegant, but the size of the bar has its drawbacks. The music is always energetic and the girls are pleasant, many of whom will enjoy dancing with you. Bangkok Bunnies are known to have more dancers than competitors in the area.

8. Angelwitch

This go-go bar has a rock and metal theme. You can even hear rock classics roaring from the speakers! All the girls here wear black underwear or black leather outfits to match the theme, especially during their choreographed performances.

You'll enjoy your drink and performances while sitting on burgundy leather couches and black marble floors, a signature decor that remains unchanged at other branches throughout Bangkok.

9. Billboard

This bar boasts a retro atmosphere that will make you feel nostalgic for a previous era from the moment you enter the premises. Because of its location on the top floor, Billboard has a fantastic view of Nana Plaza.

The main attraction is the bubble bath and hot tub, where you can relax and unwind with the girls. If you're more interested in movement, there's a rotating dance floor on the lower floor that promises to be fun. There are even choreographed shows.

Spread over two floors, this Go-Go bar has a large stage, chic armchairs and VIP rooms with decorated glass ceilings.

It's considered one of the friendliest bars in town with unique theme nights like burlesque night or doctor and nurse role-playing night.

When you enter, expect the girls to wear various elaborate outfits. But keep in mind that because of its popularity in the area, Bada Bing gets pretty crowded.
