The delights of the Black Sea

The Black Sea is one of those seas that wash several countries at the same time. Thus, the coasts of the sea touch the states of Asia and Europe, and on the surface of the Black Sea there is a border between the two continents. In addition to a good geographical position, the Black Sea also has a unique strategic importance for developed countries. There are naval bases of Ukraine, the Russian Federation, Georgia, Abkhazia, Turkey and others. Now in more detail about the geography of the sea: next to the Black Sea is the Sea of Marmara, which is connected by the Bosphorus, as well as the Aegean and Mediterranean Seas, which, in turn, are connected by the Black Sea straits.

In total, there are several dozen islands in the Black Sea: the largest of them is Dzharylgach, smaller islands are Snake and Berezan. Also, the Black Sea has the only Crimean peninsula - a well-known resort in Ukraine and abroad. As for the bays, there are a lot of them, both in Ukraine and in Bulgaria or Turkey. It is believed that you can have a great rest on the sea in all corners of the Black Sea, but there are zest, without which the Black Sea will seem the most ordinary. Such resort centers as Sochi, Annapa, Feodosia, Alushta, Gagra, Golden Sands, Eforie and many others create an unsurpassed reputation for the Black Sea. Every year millions of tourists from different countries come here to enjoy all the delights of the Black Sea.

If we consider the sights of the Black Sea, then there are a lot of them. What are such names that speak for themselves, like Sevastopol Bay, Parus and Kiseleva rocks, Sochi Marine Station, Blue Abyss. Although the Black Sea is inferior to other seas in Europe in its beauty and sophistication, nevertheless, most often tourists choose this particular pearl. Unfortunately, such an invasion of tourists has a negative impact on the ecology of the environment, so the coastal countries have created a special program to protect the environment and restore the natural beauty of the Black Sea.

If we talk about the inhabitants of the beautiful sea, it is impossible not to notice how diverse the flora and fauna of the Black Sea is. Of course, the animal world is not as unique as the Mediterranean Sea, but it also has its own unique inhabitants. Octopuses, squids and starfish are not found here, but there are numerous species of molluscs and crustaceans, crabs and mussels living at the bottom of the sea. The sea dragon is considered the most dangerous fish of the Black Sea, as it has a poisonous fin and gill covers, and a stingray with poisonous spines at the end of the tail. Despite the danger of pollution of the water resources of the sea, the Black Sea is considered an amazing place for recreation in any part of it: from north to south.
