The Louvre, the Eiffel Tower in romantic France, the Statue of Liberty in modern America, Red Square and Lenin's Mausoleum in friendly Russia, the perfect Pyramids in hot Egypt - these places and cultural monuments are known to every active tourist. About them they talk a lot, make whole programs on television. Once again, it is boring and irrelevant to talk about what the whole world is talking about. And what about the exclusive? Not too famous, but no less extraordinary, interesting places. Sometimes scary, which makes the blood run cold. So mesmerizing that it is impossible to take your eyes off. And sometimes so funny and ridiculous that it is amazing. Intrigued? Let's go then!

Today we're going to visit the weirdest, "abnormal," bizarre, unusual museums in the world. And our first stop will be the Museum of Bad Art. It contains paintings by many artists, talented people, unrecognized geniuses who at the right moment could not manage with their brush. The gallery was founded by Scott Wilson with the support of close friends. The date of this decision, no less bizarre than the museum itself, was 1993.

In the collection of the worst you can find an image of a woman "Lucy" in a blue dress dancing in a field, a dog in a grass skirt (the dog, by the way, is also juggling), a man named George on a potty, a failed copy of the Mona Lisa, etc. The collector confesses, not every work is bad enough to get into his museum, he does a careful selection. And the painting, first and foremost, must be fun and not boring.

The next station may disgust some people. Yes, yes, disgust. After all, we will be talking about cockroaches. Michael Boden loved them with all his heart and even made houses for them. This man collects famous disgusting insects, builds rest bases for them, sits them on comfortable chairs, disguises them as famous personalities. For this he uses dried cockroaches. The interior expositions turn out to be quite amusing - the cockroaches play tennis, sing songs, drink tea, gather around the table. But most importantly, Michael does not kill these creatures intentionally; he keeps them alive, and when they die, they become the subjects of thematic scenes.

Now we offer a walk through the human body: sit on the heart, wander in the stomach, look in the brain. Don't know what we're talking about? The Dutch Corpus Museum. This unique structure is built in the form of a seated man 35 meters high. The door to the building is at the knee, with the help of an elevator you can get into this or that part of the human body, examine the organs, learn everything about the functioning of each of them. All the processes simulated in the museum fully depict the real state of things, when a person is in pain, when he was injured, when a new life is being born. And all demonstrations are accompanied by sound effects. Not only interesting, but also educational.

There are quite a few museums of this kind, out-of-the-box, out-of-the-box: the Hair Museum, the Torture Rooms, the Underwater Museum. So do not get hung up on the standards, these places are also worth your attention.
