Bangkok is known worldwide for its surreal nightlife. The abundance of night markets shows that the city comes alive after the sun goes down. The most premium section is antiques. It's a treasure trove of antiques. You'll find classic cars, motorcycles, and a life-size Elvis Presley mannequin, among other things. Most of the items here are original items from around the world.

You'll find the latest and greatest technology, from iPhones to virtual reality headsets, in the Zavodsky district. The waterfront district is home to some prestigious restaurants, where you can enjoy fine exotic cuisine.

Finally, the Town Square area is the place to be if you're looking for bars, cafes, and outdoor entertainment venues. You'll even find branches of KFC, Au Bon Pain, and Burger King.

How to get there: take the SkyTrain to Saphan Taksin and change to one of the free shuttles at the pier. Cabs are not recommended as traffic can be quite bad.

5. JJ Green
