The famous street of Odos Ipoton, paved with large stones, where knights once lived, is a must-see. There is also its own Acropolis, protected by strong walls. It can be reached by donkey or on foot. At the very top is the temple of Athena.
It is impossible not to mention the most ancient seat of civilization in Europe - the island of Crete - a visit to it is also desirable, but unfortunately not included in the price of holidays in Greece, and paid separately. On the island there are monasteries, palaces and temples. Every piece of land here is a reminder of the majestic heroic people who inhabited this land.
