Eco-tourism in Russia

Tourism is a French word that translates as a trip, an outing.

In today's world, tourism is a very profitable branch of big business. In the sphere of this business, as a direction, eco-tourism stood out. It is he recognized by experts around the world as one of the most promising types of modern tourism. Ecotourism is one of the main sources of income for Costa Rica, Kenya and for some other developing countries.

According to experts, eco-tourism today accounts for about 20% of the entire tourism market and is a very rapidly growing industry.

By ecological tourism we usually mean travel that does not harm nature. It seems to us that hiking tourists with backpacks and songs by the fire, this is ecotourism. This is true, however, this type of tourism also includes comfortable travel and comfortable accommodation.

Ecotourism encourages local residents to protect nature. There are very strict requirements for this type of tourism. The tour is considered environmentally friendly if the transport used is environmentally friendly, the food is healthy and environmentally friendly, only local products are used in the diet, qualified guides lead tourists to environmentally friendly cultural and natural landscapes.

The tour itinerary includes visits to environmental trails, local history museums, farms and familiarization with local ecology. Garbage in such places is not disposed of in a landfill, but is collected and recycled. Campfires and campfires are arranged in specially allocated places. Mushrooms, flowers, berries and medicinal plants can be collected in permitted areas. Hotels and campsites are located taking into account the surrounding landscape. The buildings are built of environmentally friendly materials.
