Финляндия: Санта – Клаус и не только

Finland remains popular all year round for tourists. Someone goes there to enjoy the national cuisine, excursions, curative mineral waters, and someone - like Lenin, to build his hut and stay there forever. There is a resort Finland, tourist Finland, ski Finland... Take your pick.

Among the resorts of the country stand out such towns as Rovneni, Turku, Naantali and a number of others, scattered along the coast. Separately stands Honko, famous for its mineral water and location on the peninsula. All resorts are equally welcome tourists and in the summer you can enjoy the beautiful weather on clean beaches, taste different dishes of national Finnish cuisine, which is based on fish. Most resorts have in their location water parks, where you can spend the whole day. The most famous and beloved by tourists and Finns themselves, is the water park Siren.

In winter, the resort area of Finland is attractive to skiers. Excellent slopes, beginner's coaches, beautiful chalets, light frosty weather - all this pleases in Roveniemi, Vuokatti, Levi and other no less famous winter resorts of the country.

Speaking of tourist Finland we should mention the Turussa Castle, made in the Renaissance style. Guests will be greeted by exhibitions devoted to different centuries in the history of Finland - from the Stone Age to the Middle Ages, figures of Duke Johan and Katharina. The castle repeats what happened at court in the art galleries and sculptures, connoisseurs will be interested in the collection of firearms.

Finland: Santa Claus and Beyond In Sveaborg, another unique place in Finland, which was built 250 years ago, you can see a collection of toys and original dolls, visit Suomenlinna and Erensvärd Museums.

For tourists who love to hunt, it is possible to buy the so-called northern deer safari. The Finnish Lemmenjoki Park offers such an opportunity.

And, of course, do not leave your attention famous village of Santa - Claus, located in Lapland, in a place Roveniemi and leave a letter to Finnish Santa Claus.

Also do not forget that Finland - and its capital, Helsinki.
