Ski holidays in Turkey

What are the distinctive features of ski resorts in Turkey? The first, and most important, is the all-inclusive system, which is loved by Russian tourists. The second, a pleasant - it is affordable prices. And the third is an excellent organization of winter holidays.

Going on a winter vacation in Turkey, you need to consider several factors: the weather conditions, because the local resorts sometimes have problems with snow, or strong winds that do not allow the elevators to work. Slopes here are quite simple, may not meet the needs of professional skiers.

Uludag resort is chosen for recreation by friendly companies, preferring not difficult slopes and cheerful communication. The mountains here are low, gentle slopes allow even inexperienced skiers to enjoy skiing. But it offers an excursion program, delicious food and the opportunity to have a good time. The all-inclusive Uludag resort includes an elevator that belongs to the hotel. Each hotel has its own elevator. When you pay for a tour, you can use the elevators of the hotel where you will be staying for free. But for the use of any other elevators, and there are 14 in total, you will have to pay separately.

The resort is located near the city of Bursa, famous for its historical sites as well as for its many bazaars and stores. Bursa is also famous for its open-air thermal pool, surrounded by a botanical garden and open all year round.

The resort of Palandoken is at the opposite end of Turkey. There are only seven elevators in this resort and they all belong to Hotel Dedemon, where most tourists stay. The slopes here are more professional, the Turkish ski team trains just on these slopes. The largest length of the slopes is 12 kilometers and is of interest even to very experienced skiers.

In between skiing, it is worth visiting the ancient city of Erzurum, which is more than a thousand and a half years old. The view of ancient minarets covered with snow makes an unforgettable impression.
