Cruise along the Rhine with a visit to the "Rhine in Lights" festival

Every summer there are amazing and beautiful celebrations on the banks of the Rhine. The Rhine on Fire Pyrotechnic Festival begins in Cologne on May 6 and ends in St. Goaar and St. Goaarshausen in September. All summer tourists can enjoy the spectacle and entertainment on a par with the beer festival Oktoberfest. Stunningly beautiful fireworks, a riverboat parade and, of course, fine refreshments in tents on the shore or in the wine cellars of the hospitable Germans.

Tourists have the opportunity to take boat rides or night boat tours on the river. Thousands of people visit Germany throughout the summer to admire ancient castles, illuminated by magnificent illumination and fabulous bouquets of colorful lights in the night sky from the deck of a moving ship.

Everyone who wants to visit the Middle Ages can be recommended to arrange a river Rhine cruise. The banks of this river are lined with ancient castles - solid, well-designed and majestic. Many of the buildings were ruthless, but there are still a few that are practically intact and open to tourists. For example, Marxburg Castle, located on top of a basalt rock, is interesting because of its ancient construction and architecture.

In addition to the long trip along the Rhine, it is quite possible to arrange mini-cruises, the usual route is past steep cliffs and magnificent valleys.

A cruise on the Rhine is winding down and needs a fitting conclusion, a tasting of the world-famous Rhine wine could well fulfill that role, as could a walk through the castle with kerosene lamps or torches.
