The resort is located 150 km from Geneva airport, 200 km from Lyon airport and 80 km from Grenoble airport. The weather here is always most comfortable for winter holidays, and the season lasts from November to April. Courchevel 1850 is famous for being the first French resort built on an empty site rather than in the middle of an existing village.
