Traveling to the United States can be very time-consuming and expensive, so most people focus on one or two main destinations. The total cost of a visa is $131 (the country's currency), but depending on where you are, you may need to pay an additional fee, which can range from $7-200 USD. Most people fly to the U.S. by plane and will usually land at one of the few international airports in the country.

Upon arrival, the tourist will notice that almost all Americans speak English with the standard accent portrayed in movies and that most Americans admire foreign languages. After arriving, receiving luggage, and clearing customs, tourists must choose the manner in which they intend to travel around the country. If they have a driver's license, they can rent a car, but in large cities, it may be more convenient to use other modes of transportation, such as cabs, buses, trains, trolleybuses, or subways. Whichever way they choose to travel while visiting the United States, the tourist is sure to have a cultural experience they have not been able to have anywhere else.
