Thailand and its attractions

The center of Thailand is its capital. Bangkok (photo 1). Bangkok evokes contradictory and different feelings, everything here is very contrasting. Tall buildings of glass, iron, and concrete are next to bamboo houses. Around chic palaces, temples, their glittering looks like hundreds of thousands of small mirrors, all around wealth and poverty. Tight streets and modern roads from 15 to 30 meters above ground level, a giant stream of honking cars, large elephants, Buddhist monks in robes of orange. Abundant fruit, lobsters, snails on the trays of restaurants and cafes. It all makes an unimaginable impression!

The main attractions are. Emerald Buddha Temple (photo 2), as well as the complex The Grand Royal Palace (photo 3), various temples. The ancient city is two hundred acres in area. I would like to tell in more detail about the Royal Palace, it was founded in 1782, this place is the most visited by tourists. The palace is a giant complex, it includes: a residence, library, temples, vaults of former leaders.

In Thailand there are Ayutthaya cityThe city was the capital from 1350 to 1767, eighty kilometers from Bangkok. Before its fall, Ayutthaya had four hundred temples, three palaces, seventeen fortresses, and one hundred city gates.

The country park, as well as the country club, is an hour's drive from Bangkok. On its territory is a great golf course, there are excellent accommodations. In the vicinity of the Thai village, where you can watch the Thai marriage ceremony, perhaps see the folk dance, a very interesting elephant show.

In Thailand you can visit Jim Thompson Museum (photo 4), he is one of the most famous and mysterious people in the history of Thailand. Thompson is an American by birth, very rich in the fifties of the twentieth century in the silk industry and it was he who made the Thai silk famous all over the world. In those distant years, namely in 1959 Thompson decided to transport from the province to Bangkok various ancient houses and buildings, and then created from them a residential complex. He then decided to house a magnificent collection of Southeast Asian antiques there. Unfortunately, in 1967 Thompson disappeared without a trace while walking in the Malaysian jungle.
