Turkey: useful rules for the tourist

Regarding shopping.

Regarding hotels.

In Turkey, of course, there is a lot to choose from, as there are a huge number of hotels, from the most unpretentious and inexpensive to high-quality five-star. It all depends on your financial basis and the desired type of recreation. In general, all hotels are good: both budget and expensive. Basically, holidaymakers in hotels are provided full board.

Regarding behavior.

The main thing is that you can't take pictures of Turkish women, except from afar with a large focus. And another important rule - you can not take pictures of Turkish women, except from afar on a large focus.

Regarding food.

If you haven't gone to a high-end, expensive restaurant, you probably won't get a menu. But you can go into the kitchen and choose your favorite dish.

Regarding tips

In Turkey you leave them everywhere, for all services. Cab drivers are supposed to leave change, and give the porter at least one buck. When visiting restaurants, about 10 % is added to the final bill.

I think those who go on holiday to Turkey, these little tips will come in handy. Take them on their arm, so as not to get into embarrassing situations.
