Top 10 ski resorts

Once the decision to spend your vacation at a ski resort has been made and approved, a reasonable question arises: where to go? After all, the choice of the place where you will race at breakneck speed on the winding snow-covered slopes - this is one of the main questions, which depends a lot. Who wants to lay out a tidy sum of money, to give up all your vacation time and to vegetate in boredom? I don't think there are many who want to.

According to avid skiers and snowboarders, choosing a ski resort should be based on three criteria. The first criterion is the convenience and suitability of the ski slopes to your abilities. Second - the quality of snow cover. And the third criterion - the location of the infrastructure of the complex (the proximity of hotels and elevators). A real trend in recent years is to visit the Bulgarian resorts in Bansko. A distinctive feature of this resort is the ability to relax with the whole family. Even the littlest guests of Bansko will feel very comfortable. And with all that, the prices here are extremely democratic.

Top 10 ski resorts

When it comes to the "top resorts" of this type, France and Switzerland are of course preferred. High mountains with steep slopes will be an excellent choice for people with considerable technical training and the presence of an impressive baggage of experience and knowledge. But specialized ski resorts have one disadvantage, which sometimes becomes the determining factor in choosing a place for a winter vacation: poorly developed infrastructure and lack of "resort atmosphere.

Experts from the UK conducted a study and, through a survey of the target audience, made a list of the most popular ski resorts. The first two places went to the French Val d'Isère-Tigny and Val Thorens. The third and fourth places were shared by Austrian resorts Kaprun and Zell am See. Now moving on to the U.S. town of Mammoth. The resort, located in this city, is in fifth place. Next on the list are Obergurgle and Obertauern, located in Austria. And rounding out the top 10 are the Swiss Saas-Fee, Canada's Whistler and Switzerland's Zermatt.

If you want to rest in a top resort with "normal" prices for accommodation in hotels, then your choice should stop in Austria. However, people vacationing in Austria, prefer villas and chalets as accommodation. If we talk about French hotels - here everything is much more modest. However, service, comfort and good food is virtually guaranteed.
