Kiev is often called the mother of Slavic cities. For more than 15 centuries Kiev has made a long way from the ancient settlements. And during that time Kiev sights only expanded.

Andriyivsky Descent

There are many interesting art galleries and souvenir stores on Andriyivsky Spusk. This street is often called the Montmartre of Kiev, here at any time you can see artists showing their work. It is also a place where singers and actors give their performances.

One of the main attractions of St. Andrew's Descent is St. Andrew's, or St. Andrew's, the Empress herself founded the church and commissioned the architect Bartolomeo Rastrelli to build it. In 1749-1754 the construction was under the direction of Ivan Michurin, an architect from Moscow.
