Located on the northwestern Black Sea coast of Ukraine, Odessa is rightly called the "South Palmira". This ancient port city combines many nationalities, architectural styles, cultural and "folk" sights, which year by year attracts many tourists from near and far abroad.

Like any other seaside city, Odessa is a must-see from the water. To do this, you can use the services of small pleasure boats that depart daily for boat rides from the city port. During the walks tourists have a breathtaking view of the "pearl by the sea".

Built two centuries ago, the seaport of Odessa to this day remains a hallmark of the city. Today the modern equipped port is one of the largest passenger sea terminals of the Black Sea - an obligatory item on the cruise program of many ultramodern extra-class liners.

The Odessa National Academic Theater of Opera and Ballet is considered a symbol not only of Odessa itself, but also of Ukraine as a whole. The oldest theater in the city, which first opened its doors to visitors back in 1810, has a unique acoustics - a word said on stage in a whisper can be heard in every corner of the auditorium.

There is also another list of iconic places of Odessa, without visiting which it is impossible to see and understand what the city is really like, to feel the famous "Odessa spirit". It is impossible to say that a visit to Odessa has taken place if a tourist has not walked at least once along the most famous street of the city - Deribasovskaya and not been to Privoz. Privoz is the oldest market in Odessa, which is famous for the fact that here you can buy and sell "whatever you want". Deribasovskaya Street is the heart of Odessa, and, like Nevsky Prospect in St. Petersburg, is a traditional stroll spot for tourists and locals alike. Street musicians, a variety of restaurants, where you can taste the tastiest dishes of the national Ukrainian cuisine, fill the atmosphere of Deribasovskaya Street with unforgettable color, making it so cozy and so recognizable to anyone who has ever walked along this street.

Odessa Attractions Приморский бульвар: одесский фасад со спускающейся к морю Потемкинской лестницей – излюбленное место прогулок под сенью раскидистых платанов и вековых кленов. В ходе реконструкции бульвара были обнаружены следы греческого поселения. Место раскопок с остатками фундамента защищено стеклянным куполом, и каждый желающий может ознакомиться с этой удивительной находкой.

Separately, we should mention the unusual sculptures that could not appear in any other city but Odessa: the monument to the 12th chair, "Aunt Sonya" in the fish pavilion of Privoz, Kostya and his fisherwoman Sonya.

It is impossible not to mention the main attraction of Odessa - the residents of Odessa. Residents of the city who truly love Odessa.
