Klong Muang - a wild beach in Krabi province

Klong Muang Beach, located 13 km north of Ao Nang in the province of Krabi in Thailand. If there was a direct route from Ao Nang to the beach, the road would be much shorter. But since you need to get on a winding highway, the total length of the path is about 13 km.

Klong Muang is for those who are tired of the hustle and bustle and want to fully devote themselves to relaxation. A sandy strip with white sand stretches along the coastline. It is great to lie on it, enjoying the sound of the waves, or just walk. You may not even see anyone along the way - the beach is empty from May to October, when there is no swimming season.

Infrastructure

Unlike a regular beach, Klong Muang does not have the noisy bars, clubs and other typical tourist spots that Russian-speaking tourists are used to, with the exception of Paddy's Pub, which is mostly filled with live music and visitors during the high season. The beach is waiting for those who come to Thailand to swim in the sea and sunbathe.

Hotels

There are few hotels here, and all of them are designed for a wealthy audience. At your service is the whole complex of 4-5-star hotel infrastructure: rooms with sea views, spa, buffet. The cost of such hotels is appropriate, but almost all of them are located on the first line. But, since there are no smooth asphalt roads near the beach, the hotels on the first line are those that are located 10-50 m from the sea.

There are also options for a budget tourist - guesthouses. They are located further from the coastline, but much cheaper. In general, guesthouses in Thailand are very popular - they are inexpensive, they have a full range of essential services, and often they have very hospitable hosts who serve guests themselves.
