Prague has many fascinating museums that will satiate your intellectual appetite and also some of them may tickle your senses. Some of them are simply huge and full of charm, complete with beautiful artifacts spanning different times. Whatever your tastes are, Prague is definitely something to see. Franz Kafka Museum

The small Kafka Museum is a catalog of the life and work of Jewish writer Franz Kafka, and the museum also contains exhibits showing the influence of Prague on his work. A large collection of his personal letters and manuscripts are on display and some first editions of his books can also be found. The museum is located in the Malá Strana (Lesser Town) district.

Jewish Museum

The Jewish Museum has an extensive collection of Jewish art. The ticket price also includes admission to many other exhibitions in Prague's old Jewish quarter. Art, taken from the time of the Nazi Holocaust, is also on display here in an expanded form.

Museum of Decorative Art

In addition to the Jewish Museum, the Museum of Decorative Arts is located in the Jewish Quarter in a lushly decorated building with a neo-Renaissance facade. Its mission is to preserve and present decorative arts from all over Europe, including ceramics, glass, engravings, tapestries and clocks.
