Why you should not go to Finland

New is well forgotten old.

But nothing lasts forever. The popularity of rainy Finland has plummeted. What was the reason for this?

Why you should not go to Finland

1) The opening of a large number of hypermarkets, supermarkets, shopping centers, shopping and entertainment complexes in Russia... Until recently, it was the height of fashion to wear clothes from New Yourker or H&M while munching on Finnish toffees. Now red-and-blue candy is sold in every little-known self-service store, and Galeria and Mega have eliminated the clothing shortage.

2) Another problem is technology. It is rapidly becoming cheaper, and if before one could admire the low prices of the native Finnish cell phones firm Nokia, now the range of prices is gradually coming to a common denominator.

3) Tax-free. These magic two words, meaning a refund of 20% of the cost of goods, often beaten by the violation of the rights of carriage. Among the forbidden goods, intended for plentiful transit to the homeland, there are both alcoholic beverages and the already mentioned household appliances. And to spend extra hours at the border for tired tourists is not a good idea.

So what did we find out? Nowadays affordable and fashionable clothes are plentiful in Russia, every first person has got a cell phone, home appliance stores are full of discounts and promotions in their leaflets, and products have long been available in the widest range. Conclusion: Finland has become a mecca only for lovers of tranquility (after all - the country of a thousand lakes!), as well as for connoisseurs of architecture - both in Turku, and, of course, in Helsinki, there is something to admire.
