Colorful beaches

Surely each of us dreams of being in one of the paradise resorts to swim in the clear sea and soak up the sun on the yellow sand. But why is the sand yellow? After all, nature creates unique beaches with a by no means traditional yellow color.

For example, if you take Hawaiian island of Maui - it is known for its rich red color of the beach. On the southern coast of the island is the Kauki volcano, which is already extinct, it was because of it that this “beach” phenomenon appeared. Nudism lovers have chosen this beach for a long time, because it is far from civilization and it is not very easy to get to it.

On the Hawaiian Islands, you can also find beaches of an unusual green color. Papakolea Beach got its rare color due to the high content of green chrysolite crystals in the local volcanic rock, giving the beach an extraordinary green hue.

The blackest beach can be found on the same Hawaiian Islands. Big Island has just such a beach. The soil on this beach, consisting of basalt and lava, is a local relic; therefore, it is forbidden for tourists to take out the unique black sand, even as a souvenir. There are several black sand beaches in the Hawaiian Islands, you can also find a beach with dark brown sand.

If Hawaiian beaches don't inspire you for whatever reason, you can admire the amazing Australian beach Hyams Beachwhere the sand is snow white. This beach is located a little south of Sydney, the sand on this beach is recognized as the whitest in the world and one of the finest, so it is often compared to flour.

Pfeiffer Beachlocated in California is even more unique. It is considered the most colorful beach in the world. The coastal hills surrounding the bay contain a lot of red garnet crystals. And due to the fact that the soil is unevenly washed off the hills by rains, its shades change very often, so the sand on the beach becomes multi-colored, acquiring numerous shades, ranging from pink to purple.
