In the Gulf of Naples, 20 kilometers from Naples, is the island of Ischia. Its fame and popularity as a health resort, this island has gained through the presence on it 300 thermal springs of volcanic origin. Already in the XIV century it was a favorite place for recreation and recovery of wealthy Italians.

The unique mild climate of the island is maintained thanks to the long-dormant volcano Epomeo, which heats the underground water. This allows the resort season to last up to 8 months of the year, and the average annual air temperature is + 17 degrees, in the same springs the temperature is always warm - from 25 degrees and above. Also thanks to the climate, the fauna of the island is very diverse: fruit trees, various shrubs, pines, palms, cacti, berries, mushrooms, flowering plants - all of them found a place on this wonderful island and coexist well together. This makes Ischia an even more intriguing and attractive holiday destination.

The water in each of the thermal springs has its own temperature and chemical composition. Since the water temperature in some of the springs is very high (80-90 degrees), it is enough just to inhale its vapors, not to bathe. You can say that the whole island is enveloped in healing air.
