The construction of the village began only in 2004. In 2007, the island was recognized by Ukrainians, and became one of the so-called "Seven Wonders of Ukraine.

Zaporizhian Sich was the only prototype of all Cossack Sichs that existed in the Ukrainian lands in the 16th century. Zaporizhian Sich is a great place to learn about the life, culture and life of the brave Cossacks of Zaporozhye.
