Our tour begins with a visit to the Temple of the Tiger with its famous "path of purification" of 1,260 steps. The Buddhist-Chinese temple is located at the foot of a rock 600 meters above sea level. Legend has it that many years ago a tiger lived in the cave, and a Buddhist monk often came here to meditate.

There was no enmity between man and animal, on the contrary, a warm friendship was established. And after the death of the big cat on this place the monks erected a temple. Some of its parts are still under construction, as construction materials are bought only by donations. And the process is not quick.

If you're physically fit, it's easy to climb the mountain on the "purification trail". The view from there is spectacular with a panoramic view of the whole province of Krabi!

Any excursion is a rest and enjoyment of positive emotions, and there is no need to turn it into a marathon. If you are not confident in your abilities and don't know if you can climb the 1260 steps - don't risk it!
