Excursion "The Lost Islands of Ko Ha and Ko Rock

Koh Rock Island

The islands of Ko Ha and Ko Rock are located in the open sea, near the island of Lanta, which, in turn, is part of the province of Krabi.⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀

They are famous for their pristine nature, the blue-blue color of the water and snow-white beaches.

Koh Rok Island is a protected area, so the nature is carefully protected by national park rangers: they keep the coastline clean; keep coral reefs from speedboats and do not allow visitors to pull shells and corals out of the water. Please be friendly and considerate of the natural surroundings.

Koh Rock Island

Along the islands is a coral reef, which rages a wide variety of marine life. This is a great place for snorkeling and diving: the surrounding waters have no strong currents, the water is clear, excellent visibility and shallow depths. During a visit to Koh Rok there is a chance to meet friendly monitor lizards, which are so accustomed to the guests that quietly and without fear stroll along the shore.

The island of Ko Khaa can be reached only by swimming from the place where the boat stops, as the coastline is very shallow and densely populated with sea creatures. The island itself is small, you might even say tiny. Infrastructure is completely absent here. The island is just a sandy beach and a freakishly shaped rock. But when you get to the island, you will see a magical picture: the karst rocks, washed by the turquoise waters of the Andaman Sea and the smoothness of the horizon, stretching far into the distance.

Every year, from May 15 to October 15, the islands are closed to visitors to restore the wild flora and fauna.
