A traveler in Pattaya is unlikely to want to go home without seeing the famous Tiffany Show. It is unlikely you will find anywhere else in the world where you can see such a bright, colorful, breathtaking show.

The Tiffany Show is the oldest transvestite cabaret show in Southeast Asia.

It was founded more than 40 years ago, in 1974, and was located on the outskirts of Pattaya, where there were very few spectators. Most of them were American soldiers from the Vietnam War who were sent here to rest.

The Tiffany Show quickly gained popularity, and has grown into a real theater: once having three actors in the company, today it has about a hundred, and owning only a small studio room, today it has an entire first-class stage building with a capacity of a thousand seats.

How to get there

It is located in the northern part of the resort, on Sekond Road. You can take a cab or a local tuk-tuk to get there. The trip will cost no more than 100 baht.

Tickets for the performance can be purchased at one of the tour bureaus located throughout Pattaya. They cost from 700 baht - it all depends on the sector in which the spectator will be.

So, a standard ticket costs 700 baht, VIP category - 800 baht, VIP GOLD - 900 baht. Children under the age of three are admitted free of charge. Despite the fact that no obscenities at the show of trannies you will not see, on the posters in Pattaya is the age limit - from 12 years.

What you will see on the show

Transvestite shows don't last long - just over an hour. The shows start every day at clearly defined times - 6:00 p.m., 7:30 p.m. and 9:00 p.m. The ticket price includes refreshments, so it is forbidden to take them with you.

The performance includes song and dance numbers, as well as parodies. They are divided into several blocks: the first is devoted to the history of Thailand and the entire kingdom of Siam, the second - to China and the Chinese emperor, the third - to American pop music. Since many Russians traditionally go to Tiffany's show, in recent years there have been parodies of Russian stars.

The audience, of course, is more curious not so much to appreciate the artistry of the transvestite actors as to see them up close and personal. All of them were formerly members of the stronger sex, but now they are the weaker sex.

To do this, they had to try out all the possibilities of plastic surgery.

It is strictly forbidden to take photos and videos of the performers during the show, but you can take pictures with them at the end of the performance. They charge quite a bit for a photo - an average of 100 baht per picture, and the rates increase if the photo with you will be captured by several artists.

However, the bright colorful pictures are worth it - you definitely can't leave the Tiffany show without them!
