Popular waterfalls in Phuket

Bang Pe Waterfall is part of a special project to rehabilitate Gibbons, who are kept here in spacious cages. Access to them by humans is restricted, especially if you have food in your hands. A sign at the entrance informs you that wild animals must not be fed.

Tourists are encouraged to approach the waterfall by a trail that is located right in the jungle. There are concrete fortifications, of course, but you will encounter fallen trees along the way, under which you will need to be physically fit.

Ton Sai Natural Waterfall

If you still have a ticket from the last waterfall, which incidentally costs only 6$, you can continue your exotic tour by visiting another waterfall. It is located on the western part of Khao Pra Teo Park and is called Ton Sai. It is a less luxurious waterfall in size, but there is something different to see there.

The trail winds its way through rural landscapes, spacious plantations of local farmers, and pristine green forests, where the tranquil environment makes it easy to really relax in the lap of nature. You can, of course, hike to the falls, but only if you take a guide all the way. But it's worth it, because the guide will tell you about the wonderful fauna and flora along the way.

In general, the natural waterfall of Ton Sai is considered a favorite place of romantics and botanists. The latter often come here to observe the behavior of birds, which are counted here in great numbers.

Romantic dates in such places also leave a lasting impression, especially when in the bosom of flowing water and virgin forest fluttering birds with bright plumage.

Katu Natural Waterfall

A hike to Katu Falls is no less exciting adventure for tourists and visitors to the island. It consists of small cascading pools that overflow with rainwater. The waterfall flows from one bowl to the other, which is truly breathtaking.

The most interesting view of this natural phenomenon is from the top point, which is not easy to reach. To reach the upper level of Katu Falls, you have to overcome a very steep climb. The task is made a little easier by the fact that most of the way goes up the staircase road, but even here you have to stop periodically to take a breather in specially organized shady places.

The best time to visit this picturesque place is from June to November, when the monsoon waters are most active. In addition, the waterfall is very beautiful during heavy rains. However, it is worth remembering that when it rains, the paths become incredibly slippery. Upon reaching the top, tourists will be rewarded, as not only the enchanting view of Phuket's waterfalls, but also a large swimming pool will be on view.
