A Guide to the World. Paris

Paris is the city of museums, or rather it is the city with the most museums in the world. There are three main art museums: the world-famous Louvre, the Musée d'Orsay, and the National Museum of Modern Art at the Centre Pompidour.

Unique expositions cannot be visited in one day. Allocate several days to get acquainted with the history of world art. The peculiarity of the Orsay Museum exposition is that it is built according to the principle of postmodernism. It does not mean the usual scheme of the hierarchy of values of art, and next to famous artists the works of little-known sculptors and artists are exhibited. This gives visitors a sense of life in France for more than half a century, which was a critical period not only for French art, but also for the world.

The Museum of Auguste Rodin, the famous French sculptor, is located in an old mansion, which is located not far from the House of Invalids on rue Varenne.
