Zatoka: the most popular resort in the Odessa region

It is not surprising that Ukrainian resorts, in particular, the Odessa region, have recently become in high demand. This is especially true for Ukrainians themselves and for tourists from neighboring countries such as Belarus and Moldova. A striking example of this is the resort Zatoka, which is cozily located just six dozen kilometers from Odessa and offers everything to make your vacation memorable, at a very pleasant cost.

That is why Zatoka is such an attractive vacation spot on the Black Sea coast, and its popularity, especially in recent years, has increased many times.

How do we go to Zatoka on vacation?

Just imagine: a pleasant landscape and freshness of the sea breeze, different ways of outdoor activities, a variety of markets, a unique local mentality: all this is collected and present in Zatoka.

An important advantage of this resort: the ability to get to it quickly and easily. There are different options: by plane or by train, or by bus, or by car - it all depends on where you are coming from. You can come directly to Odessa, and from there you can take a cab or a shuttle bus or a train to Belgorod-Dnistrovskiy from the railway station. But undoubtedly, private transport is preferable because it allows you not only to get to the resort quickly and comfortably, but also to see the local attractions if you want, go for a walk around Odessa and visit the famous "7th kilometer" market.

Choosing a place to live in Zatoka

Accommodation in the resort is very diverse and mainly depends on personal preferences in recreation, as well as the amount of money planned to spend. Lodging varies widely, so prices vary widely. On average, it is from 5$ per person and then increasing. However, keep in mind that for this money you can count on a room without much comfort, but close to the sea. This is another advantage of Zatoka: the village is located on the spit between the estuary and the sea, so the sea here, even if you live near the estuary, to walk quite close - just 5-10 minutes. Counting on 8-10$ per person, you can already count on more decent accommodation options, with amenities, for example, in one of the mini-hotels.

Modern tourists are equally active in renting accommodations both in the numerous private sector of Zatoka and at rest houses and pensions, which are also very numerous here. If you prefer measured rest and quiet living, you'd better have a look at a cottage in one of the districts: Limansky, Solnechny or Tsentralniy - you can often find pretty good options.

As for holiday resorts in Zatoka, the main difference between them is only in payment (per day or per person) and the availability of food (as a rule, in the boarding houses it is included in the price).

Nutrition

Speaking of nutrition, then, in this regard, Zatoka is ready to please a wide variety of national cuisine, offered in numerous inexpensive dining rooms, restaurants and cafes. Operate here and nightclubs, which offer no less exquisite food and drinks. The most pleasant thing is that all this costs ridiculously cheap! Well, at least by the standards of the majority of holiday-makers.

It is impossible not to mention such a feature of Zatoka, as numerous peddlers of all kinds of food directly on the beaches. This is a series of "Back to the USSR": someone likes the constant outcry of the eternally scurrying beach vendors "Sweet corn Pan Gardener!", "Paaahlava!", "Oysters, mussels, sea bass, hoool beer!", some are annoyed, some do not notice. But it's all there.

Attractions, entertainment

Можно «пойти» дальше и выбрать поездку в Вилково, где можно оказаться в Украинской Венеции, покататься по Дунаю.

Prefer water parks: there are both in Odessa itself and in nearby Koblevo. Odessa Dolphinarium is very interesting, especially with children. Fans of Ukrainian wines should definitely visit Chabot, and you should definitely try some! Lovers of culture: your goal - the Odessa Opera House and, of course, the famous Deribasovskaya and located within walking distance of the Potemkin Stairs.

For those who are used to spending their holidays actively, Zatoka offers sea fishing and boating, including sailing. Moreover, there are diving courses, and the beaches are traditionally waiting for tourists with "bananas" and catamarans, jet skis and parachute flights. However, you can find other entertainment, everyone has his own tastes and preferences.

As a result, holidays in Zatoka, in most cases, leaves only positive and wonderful memories associated with this resort in Ukraine.
